Parole hearing

May 26th marks 10 years since I joined my present firm. Compared to some there it is but a drop in the ocean but equally it is getting close to 30% of my life there.

An email went out to everyone inviting them to join me for a drink at lunchtime. A small group of staff go there every day and they were there. A small group of staff were celebrating a new team member joining from another project. They were there.

That was all. No-one else showed.

At least I know where I stand I suppose. :-(
