She's just as dirty!

The continuing lack of completion of the Matra (http://www.gillott.co.uk/matra) is annoying. But progress is hampered by chatting and the cold weather not drying the paint.

One calliper is now completely overhauled, stripped, cleaned, painted, reassembled, greased and checked. Just needs fitting and bleeding. The other side is now stripped, cleaned and mostly painted. Next saturday comes final reassembly of the second one and refitting to the car if 'my brother' Andy is available. The new pads were picked up - racing spec EBC greenstuff. But why do they smell of fish?

Then I can get her on the road in case I drive to Cambridge the following week or Watford at the end of the month. Perhaps a photo op with a Cobra if anyone has one that is going to Cambridge (if you are reading this!) unless I get the train to minimise the travelling time.

Got to get the old girl sorted as I've been volunteered to show her at Bromley Pageant of Motoring the last weekend of June. So plenty of work needs doing cosmetically to really make her look good.

Just when am I supposed to go diving?
