Gillott Senior, after a few teething troubles, finally got into the operating theatre this afternoon to have his brain tumour removed (read the title to guess how). After several false starts and a lot of waiting, he went down to theatre and the surgeon reported the op as "good". There remains the next 24 hours spent mainly in the high dependency unit but reports are filtering in that he is sitting up and chatting fairly shortly after the work.
Potentially one "fixed". Just the bulk of the rest of the family left. :-)
