No 1 son and I built an FM radio today which gave him a chance to see transistors and capacitors and things. We played with batteries and dials and so on. But the best thing was that after an hour or so of assembly, the thing WORKED! Woo-hoo. Unlike his birthday present of a build your own motor where the last instruction says "connect the battery and spin the propellor and the motor will spin". Yeah, right.
Sunday evening will see me settling down to a pile of blog entries, a huge pile of emails and a bar of Cadburys Dairy Milk. You can laugh, but with a glass of malt it goes down nicely just like Port and Stilton - the experts say No, but personal preference overrides the experts. I'd advocate bananas and mushy peas if you like that sort of thing but I don't like either of them.

Hi Nick,
I have been searching for an email address for you, but having not found one, I though I would try this!
I had a meeting with Eileen Brown recently about setting up a Messaging and Mobility user group in the UK. She mentioned you as a person who would possibly be interested and may have some suggestions.
Perhaps you could drop me a mail so that we could discuss further.
