Dateline: Sunday 25th June.
Venue: Bromley Pageant of Motoring
Reason: Exhibiting my Matra Bagheera on the Matra stand with another 1978 Bagheera, a 1968 M530, a 1981 Rancho and a 2002 Avantime.
The car was clean, the weather was not too sunny and a mystery person handed a card to one of the members detailing we should be at the paddock at 4pm. Upshot was first prize for "Best Club Stand" - trophies and a cheque.
First time out and ok so it wasn't an individual performance, but I was there. The car was clean, polished, tidied and prettied up. All bits were about the right colour and nothing was flaking. Except me around the end of the afternoon.
Today's muppet show featured the letter X and the number 1. Our special guest was Dolly Parton.
Those of you who do please return to the newsgroups and help people. All other people please return your blankets to the officer in charge, move your coats from the top peg to the bottom peg unless your brother is playing rugby this afternoon in which case you need to move your coats to the middle peg. Unless your name is Dibble.
