February 14th. St Valentine. Patron Saint of inflated prices on limp roses, naff cards and seriously rude restaurant owners dishing up tiny meals with big bills.
I'll bet at least one of my friends is happy today having sent a bucket load of Roses and undoubtedly other things too across the pond. Both other friends undoubtedly did not receive the same treatment.
Jake got a valentine card. Unsigned of course. But we know who sent it and he does love her but that's because she has decided on it and he gets no say in the matter. Get used to it boy - early acceptance is the key.
