Gorgeous little niece Evie claimed a large toy labrador a few days ago following a recent family funeral, deciding to name him "Jess" after her Grandad's labrador - obviously all labradors are called Jess!
Overheard in the back of the car on the way back from the funeral: Evie chatting to Jess: "You're coming to live with us now because Auntie Connie isn't there any more. But don't worry because I will look after you and we'll take you back to Yorkshire sometimes".
