Monday's child is full of grace

The 2006 strategic plan is complete including the up to date pricing except for one topic being handled by another member of staff. Lots of money but fully itemised. Ready for presentation to the board, should they so desire.

Copies to the team (heck, its shared and they have access) for comments which for the fourth year running probably won't happen. But I have my 2006 plan mapped out on paper. 2005 worked well and I was pretty accurate on price and time. Feel good about what I have achieved.

IM'd the guvnor. He had an Exchange server fault which was ironic. Of course I got first blame. Quick bounce and all was well in the world. If only all problems were resolved by a quick bounce :-)

Thursday is now confirmed as "the dynamic duo do London" although this is restricted to daytime only due to the lack of child minding facility that evening. Still, thoughts of Messrs Arnold and Gillott in the swimming pool should be indelibly etched on the consciences of anyone reading this for some time to come.

Exchange is getting busier. Up to 250 emails a week over the bridgehead at home with just 2 real users and most things going to the office. Still, that DOES include emails from Akim.

All in all a good day but that's probably due to the thought of seeing a mate for some good punter type banter this week. I like doing that, but the old "will work for beer" no longer applies. Thursday I may work for champagne though...
