Wednesday's blog is good to go

So to a fairly well known consultancy / outsourcer this morning. Ostensibly for MOM 2005 but in fact that turned out to be a 50 level talk. Ah well, I'll just have to ask Neil or Cliff with any woes on the corp network. If I was a Quest reseller it would have been a good day - about 3 of the 3 people I spoke to will be going there for Aelita Recovery Manager or Spotlight on AD.

Then got bogged down with this work thing I do. Seriously gets in the way of sorting stuff out! But it was productive and I didn't kill anyone. V1 of the IT revamp went well - if two of the staff move to the lab, there is enough room for the pool table or the hot tub. I think the pool table is the better option personally.

Old HF has been active again, his new blog entry shows the cheats guide to being an overpaid consultant. Charge, charge and charge again. He's worse than the light brigade. But a humorous blog entry and a periodic IM or email certainly lift an otherwise fairly unspectacular day. My brain is now so relaxed it could get a job doing SBS installations, except that of course brains and SBS are rarely seen together. (Cough)Foz(Cough) :-)

Plan of attack for the evening? Think I'll have some scram, bring on the booze and talk cobblers with a mate. Sounds very normal, but today has been good so tonight I'll be the happy one. Who knows, might even offer the lass a drink even before she asks...
