No 1 son turned eight today and I took him swimming. Was great to see him on the actual day and there were no "issues" which is always a bonus. We had a great time and he seems happy which is the main thing.
We talk about subjects that are far ranging for an 8 year old and in a very adult manner. Of course I'm still bigger than him so I get to duck him under water whenever I want. That is my inner child.
